10.) Nokia Lumia 920 is a Smartphone developed by Nokia. It runs on Windows Phone 8 operating system, was announced on September 5, 2012 and released on November 2, 2012. Powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Krait Process and a 114 mm (4.5”) IPS TFT LCD display it has a high-sensitivity capacitive touchscreen. It features the 8.7 megapixel PureView camera for still images and videos. It comes with 32 GB internal storage but has no card slot, because of this the memory cannot be expanded with memory cards.
9.) The Kindle Fire is a mini tablet version of Amazon.com’s Kindle ebook reader. It was announced on September 28, 2011. Kindle Fire has a color 7-inch multi-touch display and runs on Google’s Android operating system. This device was released to the consumers of United States on November 15, 2011. The device was upgraded on September 7, 2012 and was made available to European countries also.

I love the Kindle Fire. Even with all the media options on it, it’s still a Kindle first, and that means it’s meant for reading. I think e-Readers are the only way that written fiction will survive in the 21st century, and as much as I love the e-ink Kindles, I understand that most people in this day and age won’t spend money on a gadget that doesn’t offer at least a moderate amount of internet usability. Even if you use your Fire more for Netflix than reading, it’s still a mini-tablet dedicated solely to entertainment consumption, so when you pull it out you don’t feel obligated to check your email or anything work-related.

The popularity of electronic books is increasing in the United States, with nearly one-quarter of American bibliophiles reading e-books, according to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center. The reason of this is the move toward e-book reading with an increase in ownership of electronic book reading devices. The number of owners of either a tablet computer or e-book reading device like Kindle grew from 18 percent in late 2011 to 33 percent in 2012.
